Ninth in the series of large-scale Window Installations, #547-2010 featured a collection of historic window sash that were retrieved from No. 23 East 67th Street, New York, NY in July 2008. At that time, the entire sash window systems on the front and rear façade of No. 23 were removed down to the brick, including the original wood frames and counterbalance mechanisms, and new wooden window systems were installed. During the removal, thirteen original wooden sash from No. 23 were collected from both the front and rear façades and added to the Window Installation Collection.
